Workshops
Heather French Henry was crowned Miss America 2000 and went on to build a powerful legacy as a national advocate for homeless veterans, talented speaker and powerful leader. She also works in strategic outreach for Global Game Changers, a nationwide non-profit who free PreK-5 curriculum empowers children to discover their talents, use their hearts, and make a positive impact. We’re honored to welcome Heather French Henry and excited for you to be inspired and equipped to lead, compete and serve through her Crowns & Gowns delegate workshops and leadership luncheon.

Headshots
Crowns & Gowns features an exclusive opportunity to work with Devine Studios, a powerhouse in pageant-headshot photography out of Kansas City. The combination of styling, posing guidance, and experience while working with contestants delivers images that reflect both your authentic self and your pageant persona. Their sessions are designed to empower you, showcase your best angles, and give you high-impact photos that project confidence, not just beauty. Headshots include make-up with Ashley Gaa and hair. Each appointment includes one outfit, hair, makeup, and 2 edits.

Competition
Join us for the last competition of the Miss Nebraska local season. Held Friday, February 6th from 7-9 p.m. at Mid Plains Community College.
There is also still time to register to compete for your chance to join us at Miss Nebraska 2026. Miss Nebraska and Miss Nebraska’s Teen not only receive scholarship money and prizes, but a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to showcase their opinions, talents and intelligence, and to serve Nebraska as ambassadors around the nation. Tickets for the Miss Sandhills Competition held at Mid-Plains Comm. College South Campus will be available at the door.
Host Hotel Information
We recommend all out of town guests to stay at our host hotel, The Best Western Plus at 3201 S. Jeffers Street in North Platte. This will be the location of all of the Miss Nebraska Organization’s delegate workshops and headshots. The hotel is a quick drive to the Gown Showroom in downtown. Book your room now!
