Our pageant consultants have years of experience in creating and designing truly unique gowns to bring your vision to life on stage. Joining them for Crowns & Gowns 2026 is one of the top pageant professionals, Matthew Sutherland of Jovani Fashions. This year our pageant girls will get the privilege of private access to our showroom and working with Matthew during their pageant shopping appointment.

Matthew Sutherland is a seasoned fashion professional with over a decade of experience in the industry. Based in New York City, he currently lends his creative vision and strategic expertise to JOVANI Fashion, the leading name in luxury evening wear. Known for his dynamic energy and unwavering commitment to excellence, he has built a reputation for transforming bold ideas into runway-ready realities.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Matthew has worked with some of the most influential artists like Reba McEntire, Stevie Nicks, Miley Cyrus, Kelsea Ballerini, and Kacey Musgraves. His eye for style and poise has also made him a sought-after judge for pageants at the county, state, and national levels—bringing his fashion acumen to the spotlight in arenas where grace and glamour reign.

As he continues to shape the future of evening wear at JOVANI Fashion, Matthew remains dedicated to mentoring the next generation of fashion talent and expanding the brand’s global presence. Private Pageant Shopping

  • Crowns & Gowns private pageant shopping appointments will allow access to 3 titleholders per appointment slot. 1 Miss titleholder, 1 Teen titleholder and 1 non Miss Nebraska titleholder.

  • Visit our appointment page to find the steps to book your pageant shopping appointment. PLEASE NOTE: Pageant shopping appointments can only be made by girls with a current title due to the extreme limited availability.

  • Coming to Crowns & Gowns from Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Iowa or Kansas? With your appointment receive a dress sponsorship from The Prom Shoppe. Details of the sponsorship will be emailed to you following your booking.
